Mohammed Hossain Al Morshed ndc, afwc, psc is a Major General and Director General of National Security Intelligence, the main civil intelligence agency in Bangladesh, since April 2024.[1] Prior to join NSI, he was Senior Directing Staff at National Defence College, Bangladesh.[2]

Military career[edit]

Morshed was commissioned as an officer in the corps of Infantry at 26th BMA Long Course in June, 1992.[1]

In 2018, Morshed was the Chairman of the tournament committee at the Savar Golf Club.[3]

Morshed was an instructor at the National Defence College.[4]

In April 2024, Morshed was appointed director general of the National Security Intelligence replacing Major General T. M. Jobaer.[1] After his appointment, he visited the shrine to former President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.[5]
