Kamo Cultural Festival

Kamo Cultural Festival is one of the cultural festivals that Gombe State is known for. It is commonly celebrated by the Kamo and Awak ethnic groupings in Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State in Nigeria.[1] It is an annual event that is celebrated before the commencement of the rainy season in April.

Aim[edit]

The aim of the festival is to foster unity among the people and also for the preservation of their rich cultural heritage to be transmitted from the older generation to the younger generation.[2]
