Hearts On Fire is an international diamond jewelry brand known for its highest standards in diamond excellence and perfectly cut diamonds.

Founded in 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, it was acquired by Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group in 2014 and is now headquartered in Hong Kong SAR, China.

Company history[edit]

Company History[edit]

Hearts On Fire[1] was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, United States by couple Glenn and Susan Rothman. In 1996 they debuted their signature diamond cut, which has since been trademarked as “The World’s Most Perfectly Cut Diamond,” [2]  due to its unique hearts and arrow pattern.

Hearts On Fire diamonds begin from the most optically pure and responsibly sourced raw materials and are perfected through exceptional craftmanship and consistent precision.  The result is a sparkle and brilliance unmatched in any other diamond.

Some of its signature collections include AERIAL (2022), VELA (2023), LU (2024) and BARRE (2024).

Milestones[edit]

In 1998 the company established a presence in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean. The next year, the company launched its first collection of diamond jewelry, creating diamond rings and earrings using its own diamonds.

In 2002, Hearts On Fire patented the "Dream" cut diamond, a version of the modified square cut.[3]

In 2014, Hearts On Fire was sold to one of the world's largest retailers of jewelry, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, for 150 million dollars.[4]

In May of 2022, Chow Tai Fook named Rebecca Foerster President of Hearts On Fire, North America.

In May of 2023, Chow Tai Fook named Rita Maltez the Global President of Hearts On Fire.

Partnerships[edit]

In 2006, the company supplied diamonds to lingerie company Victoria's Secret to create one of the world's most expensive bras, the Victoria's Secret Hearts On Fire Diamond Fantasy Bra, valued at $6.5 million.[5]

The next year, the company supplied diamonds to Godiva Chocolatier for a Valentine's Day prize of over $1M in diamond jewelry, the largest prize in the history of either company.[6]

In 2008, upon the launch of its Architectural Collection, a jewelry line inspired by architectural structures from all over the world, the company created a diamond chandelier to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Emmy Awards. The chandelier was made using more than 3,300 diamonds weighing over 1,000 carats and was valued at $10M. The chandelier was featured in the award show's green room in a partnership with Architectural Digest.[7]
