Iziaq Adekunle Salako (born 9 August 1967, Ayetoro Yewa North, Ogun State) is a Nigerian politician. He currently serves as the Minister of State for Environment.[1][2]

Early life and career[edit]

He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Lagos and Master in Public Health from the Lagos State University. He is a certified colposcopist and sonologist.[3] He served as the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Housing and Health in Ogun State between 2007 and 2011.[4]

In August 2023, he was nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to serve as a minister and after a successful screening by the Nigerian Senate, he was appointed as the Honorable Minister of State for Environment.[5][6]
