Vanjangi Hill Station is located near Paderu in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is approximately 3,400 feet above sea level.

Vanjangi is situated in the Eastern Ghats. The climate of Vanjangi is typically cool throughout the year.{{Citation needed}}
The area experiences heavy rainfall during the monsoon season.[2]

with visitors often beginning their trek early morning to witness the spectacle.{{Citation needed}}
The hill station is enveloped in thick fog during the winter months,[3] drawing thousands of tourists.{{Citation needed}}
[3] Winter sets in early in Vanjangi, with temperatures dropping to as low as 16 degrees Celsius. November is particularly popular for tourists due to its dense fog and clear views.[4]

The culture of Vanjangi is deeply rooted in the traditions of the indigenous tribal communities of the Eastern Ghats. Local traditions include colorful festivals, traditional dances, and unique handicrafts.[2]

Transport[edit]
Vanjangi is accessible through several modes of transport, despite its remote location. The primary means of reaching Vanjangi is by road from Paderu. Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) operates buses from nearby towns to Paderu.
There is no railway station in Vanjangi itself. The closest major railway station is in Visakhapatnam, approximately 125 kilometers from Vanjangi.[6]
