TFhost is a Nigeria-based provider of shared, reseller, virtual private server, and dedicated server hosting with its own data center.

History[edit]

TFhost was founded in 2017 as a division of Trefoil Networks.[2]

In July 2018, TFhost won the Best Local hosting company of the year at The 2018 .ng Awards, the third in the series of the .ng Awards held by NIRA on Friday 6th July, 2018, at the Celebration Gardens and Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.[3]

In October 2018, TFhost emerged as the Best Hosting Provider in Nigeria for the year on Friday, October 12th, 2018 at the 2018 Nigeria Tech Innovation & Telecom Awards (NTITA) held by Instinct Wave and Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) at the Oriental Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos.[4]

In November 2018, TFhost exhibited at the annual e-Nigeria Conference declared open by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari.[5]

In 2019, TFhost won for the second time in a row, the best local hosting company of the year at the Fourth Annual .ng Awards, 2019 by The Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), which was held on Friday 5th July, 2019 at Nelo’s Place Event Center, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.[6]

In July 2019, TFhost announced the Launch of New Affiliate Program. The program allows affiliate partners to earn 20% commission for any sign ups they refer.[7]

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, TFhost maintained 100% uptime despite the challenges.[8]
