Waltzing Matilda is a 1941 Australian radio serial by Edmund Barclay.[2]

Premise[edit]

In 1910, John Hargreaves, a thirty-something clerk in the city, quits his job to travel the country and become a swagman.[3] He is befriended by a man called Nugget.[4]

John, however, makes out a very good case to the effect that old man Downs accidentally shot himself, and then tried to put the blame on his son, Perce. When Nugget realises this, he determines to give old man Downs a piece of his mind."[7]
