Maria Cecília Vicente Duarte Honório (born 1 July 1962) is an academic and politician. She was a member Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal from 2005 to 2015.

Biography[edit]

Cecília Honório was born on 1 July 1962 in Lisbon, Portugal. She graduated from the NOVA University Lisbon, with a doctorate in political science, and works as a history academic teacher and researcher at her aluma matter.[1][2]

Honório belongs to the Left Bloc. From 10 March 2005 to 22 October 2015 she was a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal.[1]

In 2013 she unsuccessfully run for office of the mayor of Cascais.[3]
