Parit Jawa is a mukim in Muar District, Johor, Malaysia.

The population consists of approximately 80% Malay (primarily of Javanese descent), 14% Chinese, and 6% Indian. The area is located along the curve of the Malacca Straits and is known for Pantai Leka, a notable center for fresh aquatic resources available at reasonable prices. The main connecting roads are Jalan Jabbar, Jalan Mahmood, Jalan Temenggong Ahmad, and Jalan Omar.

A notable culinary offering in the area is Asam Pedas, appreciated for its tangy and spicy taste. It is commonly available near the beach where fishing boats are moored. In the nearby small and welcoming community of Parit Jawa, a range of traditional Muar-style breakfast options can be found, including Nasi Lemak, Lontong, assorted Satay, and Me Rebus.

Residents from neighboring districts and even other states often visit the main fish market known as 'Pasar Parit Jawa' to purchase fresh seafood such as fish, crabs, and shrimp, as well as fresh vegetables. These items are available at reasonable prices.
